A few years ago while setting out to teach myself how to silversmith I stumbled upon my first piece of rough turquoise, amazed by its beauty and attempted to cut and polish it... soon after realizing i just destroyed a beautiful thing I had spent a good bit purchasing I obtained a set diamond polishing wheels and attempted to try again.  With a better set of tooling I quickly became absolutely amazed at how anything I put to these diamond wheels be it turquoise, any old rock in the yard, a piece of wood. Or even a slab of busted up concrete from the walkway, whatever I threw at the wheels it would just shine like glass and go from eh to simply beautiful!!  

Instantly I was hooked and each day I set out to learn more, improve my ability and set out to find more of natures beauty to work with.  Since I began I also loved to see the enjoyment others would get when sharing these beautiful stones with them.  So that's how things started and how this site became.
